Iloilo Convention Center (ICon)

The Iloilo Convention Center, fondly called ICON, is a state-of-the-art event venue situated within the bustling Iloilo Business Park in Mandurriao, Iloilo City. Completed in September 2015 to host the prestigious APEC meetings, this landmark project spans 1.7 hectares of land and can accommodate up to 3,000 guests, making it a premier hub for the region's MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism.

Designed by prominent Ilonggo architect William Coscolluela, the building beautifully incorporates local heritage into its architecture. The exterior glass walls feature abstract designs inspired by the Dinagyang Festival, while the prominent architectural fins resemble the sails of traditional Paraw Regatta boats. Inside, the two-storey layout features a massive main convention hall on the ground floor for trade shows and large gatherings, multiple smaller meeting rooms on the second floor for breakout sessions, and an open rooftop space for outdoor functions. Because of its prime location, the convention center sits within walking distance of high-end hotels like the Richmonde Hotel Iloilo and Courtyard by Marriott, offering unparalleled convenience for business travelers and tourists alike.
